HGV Driver (Category C1) – Oban & Isle of Mull

We are looking for a skilled and motivated HGV Driver (Category C1 licence required) to join our team, based in Oban, with an additional vacancy at our Isle of Mull depot.

Full-time, part-time, and flexible working options available.
This is a great opportunity to work sociable weekday daytime hours with a well-established local company, offering excellent, competitive rates of pay.

About the Role

HGV driving duties across skip lorries, hook loaders, tippers, or concrete mixers, depending on experience
Training can be provided where required
Flexible working patterns, including part-time opportunities
Interesting and varied work in scenic Argyll
Regular weekday daytime hours
Optional overtime or weekend work available if required.
Based in Oban, with an additional vacancy on the Isle of Mull

Requirements

Full, clean Category C1 HGV licence
Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Previous experience with skip lorries, hook loaders, tippers, or mixers preferred but not essential
Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
Willingness to carry out basic administration, including use of a handheld computerised delivery device
